The deposit/full payment and insurance premium (if required) must accompany a completed booking form.

The person signing the booking form authorises the booking on behalf of those included on the form. Final payment for the tour must be made 6 weeks before the tour departure; Flanders Tours will state the due date in the Confirmation of Booking. If the full amount is not paid by the due date Flanders Tours reserves the right to consider the booking cancelled and will retain the deposit.

The advertised tour price may be revised solely to allow for unforeseen variations in:

1. transportation costs;
2. port taxes/fees; or
3. exchange rates.

Where Flanders Tours does not absorb any such variation, only an excess of not more than 2% can be charged. If you do not wish to pay such a supplement, an alternative tour (subject to availability) or refund in full will be offered.

Flanders Tours reserves the right to make minor adjustments to a published tour itinerary for administrative purposes or in the interest of the travelers. If, prior to the tour departure, Flanders Tours has to make a significant change due to unforeseen circumstances to the tour departure, travel times, battlefield location, method of transport or hotel venue, you will be advised immediately and an alternative tour (subject to availability) or refund in full will be offered. In the unlikely event that, after departure, Flanders Tours is unable to provide a significant portion of the tour package, suitable alternative arrangements will be made at no extra cost to you. If it is impossible to make suitable alternative arrangements, or they are not acceptable to you for good reasons, compensation will be considered by Flanders Tours.

Flanders Tours is responsible for the operation of the tour and the proper performance of all suppliers contracted to the tour package at the standard of service published in this brochure. Flanders Tours cannot be held liable for damage or additional expense to you as a result of unforeseen circumstances, which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised, for example: a) any act personally attributable to you; b) by a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for; c) adverse weather conditions, delays, accident; d) 'force majeure' (war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire).

If you are prevented from joining a tour you may transfer the booking to another person or another tour (subject to availability), providing Flanders Tours are informed before the tour departure and agree to the transfer. The transferor and transferee are jointly and severally liable to Flanders Tours for any outstanding payment.

In accordance with the EC Package Tour regulations, Flanders Tours hold all payments in a Trust Fund. The Kings Ferry coach company, an element of the package tour, is a bonded member of the Bus and Coach council.
